Here at the Health Center, the Nurses are dedicated to serving the students and staff at MSD. We do this by having a Nurse available during school hours Monday through Friday. Additionally, Nursing support is offered some weeknights for students in the dorms. We will assess students for possible health concerns, attend to any injuries, offer educational resources, administer prescription medications, and follow up with parents for any health-related concerns. With our medical director, Dr. Dennis Lloyd, we have curated a list of standing orders and medications to help students with basic health related issues that may arise during the day. We also offer basic hygiene products for our students should they need them or run out while staying in the dorms. The health center has a treatment room that students may temporarily rest in or be tended to in order to ensure privacy. We are committed to supporting and assisting all students with their health care needs. For our fellow staff members, we put on trainings and offer up-to-date resources to assist and support the students. For any questions, comments, or concerns please reach out.
